Welcome to The GataGoalie Academy ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 Personal Information You Provide

  • Account Data: Name, email address, age/date of birth, and password.

  • Payment Data: Processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Apple/Google Pay). We do not store full credit card numbers.

  • User-Generated Content (UGC): Posts, comments, videos, and accomplishments shared within the community features.

  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and interaction with training content.

  • Location Data: Approximate location derived from your IP address for regional updates.

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The GataGoalie Academy allows use by minors. For users under 13, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • Verifiable Parental Consent: We obtain consent via the monetary transaction (subscription purchase) required to access the App. This ensures a parent or guardian is involved in the account setup.

  • Parental Rights: Parents may review, edit, or request the deletion of their child’s personal information at any time by contacting JOE@GATAGOALIE.COM.

  • Data Limitation: We do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the training and community features.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide training courses and track athletic progress.

  • Send updates and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

  • Community Features: Any content posted in discussion boards is visible to other registered users.

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within 90 days. Note: In community sections, your posts may remain but your name will be removed (anonymized).

  • Request that we delete your personal data.
